Planning and design

Can one of your designers see me after work?

Yes, all of our designers are happy to see customers at their convenience.

Do you complete any building work?

Yes, we do all building work once planning permission is in place.

Do you offer a design and supply only service?

Yes, this would also mean you may get your goods quicker.

I have a leak and it’s the weekend who should I call?

If the showroom is open, please call them on 01522 884444. In urgent cases we will get a call out to the Installations director who can advise on the leak or arrange a plumber call out. If out of hours please call an emergency plumber and Palmers of Lincoln will then deal with this Monday morning.

I need some walls removing can you do this?

Yes, our builder will check to see if they are supporting walls before we finalise any building work.

Once you have designed my new room are you able to email or post to me the plan and drawings?

We will only email or post anything AFTER a contract is signed with Palmers.

What happens after I have signed my contract?

Our admin department will send out a letter confirming your purchase and the details of your project schedule. You will also receive a file which has the pictures, plan and details of your order.

What is my guarantee with Palmers?

We provide a full 5 year workmanship guarantee as well as extensive guarantees dependent upon your products.

What services do Palmers Of Lincoln offer?

We offer a bespoke design, supply and fit service on kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and all of our home improvement products.

Pricing and payment

How do I pay for my goods on delivery?

You can pay by cheque on delivery, card over the phone or by BACS. All these details will be on your installation letter.

I’ve had a cheaper quote than Palmers of Lincoln do you price match?

We are a bespoke company offering personalised services, so as such we are unable to price match from the internet, however if you have a quote from another showroom then we would be more than happy to do a price comparison in a like for like offering.

Timescales

How long will it take to fit my new bathroom?

We always advise that a bathroom takes 2 weeks whereas a wet room will take around 3 weeks.

How long will it take to fit my new bedroom?

A bedroom normally takes 3-5 days.

How long will it take to fit my new kitchen?

Our advice is that a kitchen will take 2-3 weeks from the removal stage. If we are doing a dry fit then it would be approximately one and a half to two weeks.

How quickly will I get my new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom if I decide to purchase?

We normally work to a 4 week lead time, sometimes this can be quicker, dependent on the size of the project. Conversely, it may take longer if something is a painted item. Our expert designers will advise you on exact times.

Who do I call if I have a question about my installation?

Our installation office is open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. If you call them on 01159455878 option 2, they will be more than happy to answer any questions.
